FAQs
See below, or get in touch with a new question.
What is a
'Ward Organiser'?
A volunteer who commits to working on a regular basis to organise the election campaigning work in a ward - meeting voters, gathering information and getting leaflets delivered.
Do I need
any experience?
We are more interested in your commitment to volunteering regularly to help your local campaign, but some experience of door knocking is helpful.
How much
does it cost?
Students don't pay a penny. The cost is covered by your local candidate, MP, CLP or Labour Group.
How long will
the course take?
The course is a full Saturday of practical in person training in central London, then an afternoon of online sessions from home the next day.
How do I apply?
Just ask your PPC, MP, CLP or Labour Group to sponsor your place
Can I do the
course online?
These are practical skills, particularly learning how to lead a team of volunteers to meet voters on their doorsteps, so the main training day needs to be in person
